Christmas outfit & New Years //

This is what I wore for Christmas Eve Mass. It was a very beautiful Christmas indeed. I was blessed to be surrounded by the ones I love. Unfortunately not everyone can say that around the Holidays. I'm extremely grateful for the men and women in the military who could not be present with their families on Christmas, but for the unconditional sacrifice for our Country. It occurred to me how precious my time with my family is.With 2014 around the corner I don't know what God has planned for me. My life is constantly changing.
Change is a very scary thing for me. For instance this was the first year we opened presents without my older sister, yes she now has her own little family but it was hard on me. I don't know what the next couple years will hold. Good thing I believe in God's divine providence or I would be a major train wreck..(yikes).  Though change can be daunting. Change is a good thing. Change is all apart of growing up.
When I think about 2014 I get butterflies in my stomach. Instead of holding this year on a pedestal, I am going to take each day as it presents itself and enjoy it. Im going to use 2014 to be the year I deepen my relationship with Christ, family and friends.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,
Marisa
